AB - SUMMARY: Higher packing attenuation of coils in cerebral aneurysms is associated with a decreased recurrence rate. However, geometric relationships suggest that an additional coil may have very little effect on packing attenuation as aneurysm size increases. We mathematically evaluated the relationship between aneurysm size and incremental packing attenuation for coils currently available. ISATInternational Subarachnoid Aneurysm Trial
