AB - Summary: This is a preliminary demonstration of volumetric perfusion CT of the brain in domestic pigs by using a prototype 256-detector row CT. Scan range is approximately 100 mm in the craniocaudal direction with 0.5-mm section thickness. The 256–detector row CT is an easily available imaging technique that can provide volumetric cine imaging, CT angiography, and perfusion CT in a wide craniocaudal coverage simultaneously.
