AB SUMMARY: We report 2 patients with migraine with aura, in whom SWI showed transient prominence of the venous vasculature within areas of impaired perfusion. The findings resolved spontaneously in both patients. This imaging technique may play a helpful role in assessing the vascular events in migraine with aura.
