* Average percentage change on MR image was calculated as intensity 11 hours post-MnCl2: baseline intensity/baseline intensity × 100 from a large VOI over the individual tumor. Peak FDG was calculated as the peak normalized glucose metabolic rate measured in the entire tumor. Tumor size in square millimeters was calculated from the MR image using pixel size and summed areas of 2D regions of interest hand drawn on each section.
